On behalf of one of our clients, a leading global pharmaceutical company with Swedish headquarters in Stockholm, we are now searching for an experienced Compliance Officer Sweden.

Purpose as Compliance Officer Sweden

Compliance Officer Sweden is mainly responsible for assisting regional and cluster Compliance Officers in the development, implementation and continuous enhancement of the company ’s regional and corporate compliance program, and for assisting in the implementation of initiatives of the company office of global compliance at the national level with local management. Manage the role as data records coordinator for the company. Manage the local role and process for GDPR compliance and EHS management.

Key responsibilities for Compliance Officer Sweden

  • Support new and enhanced compliance training programs and conduct training of personnel on compliance topics when required;

  • Support operation of compliance program and its related activities and support development and communication of new and enhanced policies and procedures;

  • Provide guidance to personnel regarding compliance with applicable policies and procedures;

  • Organise and lead quarterly compliance committee meetings and draft and retain meeting minutes.

You ask yourself: how does my function best support the strategy and what suggestions can I give on how to proceed with the strategy in a compliant way. The position will have extensive contacts with staff in local affiliate and must be an authority and give understandable guidance within given areas, must have an ability to make people listen and understand. Contact with regional compliance organization and good understanding of work in global organization and matrix reporting.

Qualifications and experiences

Associate’s degree/college diploma or equivalent. Experience from working in pharma industry in compliance related roles. Documented training in IMA/VIMA. Fluency in English and Swedish. Documented pedagogical skills. Fast adapter and comfortable working in different new electronic systems. Self-driven, able to solve upcoming problems were there are not always existing solutions. Excellent skills using the office package, excellent administrative skills, solution oriented and good sense of service. Competent to build structure and seek information in complex environment.
