In partnership with Sobi we are now searching for a Global Communications Manager Haemophilia to the Sobi head office in Stockholm.

Purpose of the position:

The purpose of the role as Global Communications Manager Haemophilia is to lead the execution of Sobi’s global external brand communications strategy in Haemophilia, in close alignment with the cross functional and brand teams in the Haemophilia business unit.


The role of the Communications Manager Haemophilia is to ensure that communications initiatives regarding Sobi’s haemophilia products and strategies are consistent, long-term and value creating and aligned to brand strategies and in line with corporate communications policies and operating standards.

Sobi has the ambition to be recognized as a leader in rare diseases and has a strong growth strategy in place to achieve this goal. Haemophilia is the key therapeutic area for the organization and an area of high focus. This position will have an impact on the ability to achieve the goals and position Sobi as a leader in this field.

Position Qualifications:

Education/Learning Experience/Work Experience: 

Education: Appropriate educational background in a relevant practice area and/or a demonstrated track record and experience that demonstrates an ability to deliver the tasks required.

Practical experience: 

Experience from similar positions in either pharmaceutical (required) or consultancy environment e.g. advertising/communications- or PR agency (preferred), likely minimum 5 years’ experience. Demonstrable customer relationship management experience. Documented track-record in developing and implementing programs or tools that patients can benefit from. Fluency in English, both oral and written communications. Effective, skilled and persuasive communicator. Cross cultural working appreciation and experience. Experience in working cross-functionally; self-starter with a strong sense of personal accountability as well as the ability to work in a cross-functional team. A creative and brave personality, identifying opportunities where status quo have been challenged. Documented analytical- judgment- and problem-solving skills. Solid understanding of commercial and medical functions and how these best contribute to a successful patient access approachAn appropriate interest in, or experience with orphan drugs or specialty pharmaceuticals would be a distinct advantage
