In partnership with Sobi we are now searching for a field based Haemophilia Key Account Manager Sweden.

Primary responsibility

The primary responsibility of the Haemophilia Key Account Manager Sweden will be to develop key accounts in Sweden and - as a result – to secure successful switch of patients to Sobi’s extended half-life products Elocta®& Alprolix®. The haemophilia treatment centers are based at the university hospitals in Stockholm, Malmö and Gothenburg. The candidate will also engage with the national patient association in Sweden. 

The successful candidate should both be a conductor and a team player, actively engaging with the full cross-functional Nordic haemophilia team. He/she provides input to strategy and tactics, based on insight into the needs of our key stakeholders in Sweden. The position holder will work closely with colleagues across commercial, medical and patient access functions to help develop the presence and recognition of Sobi as a credible partner to the haemophilia community. 

The candidate should be able to identify and implement innovative projects, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

The Haemophilia Key Account Manager Sweden will report directly to the Business Unit Director Haemophilia (BUD).

Key responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the Haemophilia Key Account Manager Sweden are to:

  • Create access to and build relationships with Health Care Practitioners in compliance with the company’s strategy, policies and with current regulations.

  • In collaboration with the Business Unit Director and Product Manager (PM) define commercial activities and steps necessary to reach the objectives in his/her area of responsibility.

  • Improve his/her own knowledge of and competence in the therapeutic area though participation in congresses, meetings, refresher courses and self-study.

  • Develop a strong cross-functional Key Account Management plan per Haemophilia Treatment Center (HTCs), with the ultimate objective of establishing long-term partnerships.

  • Organize and plan his/her own activities (visits, itineraries, meeting) and secure timely and adequate reporting in the CRM system (Salesforce/ Veeva CRM) in accordance with Sobi standards. 

  • Apply and respect legislative and company requirements concerning drug scientific information, drug safety and ethical code. 

  • Represent Sobi at National & International Congresses whether alone or together with clients.

  • Project Management: Identify innovative projects and, in collaboration with the BUD, PM, Medical team members and any other stakeholder of the Nordic team, develop and implement these in the different HTCs in Sweden.

  • Work together with the Sr PM to identify, plan and execute projects that could bring an added value to the Haemophilia community in Sweden.

Collect and share competitive intelligence (market info, competitor materials/ activities, tender… ) 

Position Qualifications

Education/Learning Experience

Required:

  • Nurse, pharmacist or experience from similar positions 

  • LIF certified

 

Work Experience

Required:

  • Pharma marketing/sales experience for a minimum of 5 years from highly specialized therapy area(s), preferably haematology or serious chronic disease area. 

  • Customer relationship management 

  • Specialty medicine account management experience, with demonstrable success

  • Experience navigating the local health systems and decision-making processes 

  • Ability to create results in a highly competitive environment

Skills/Knowledge                

Required:

  • Swedish language mother tongue/ proficiency. 

  • English proficiency (orally)

  • Profound knowledge of the local market (including health care system and its mechanisms in general)

  • Good communication skills, both oral and written communication

  • Computer skills (MS Office programs, CRM system)
