On behalf of one of our clients, a leading global biotech and speciality pharmaceutical company with Nordic-Baltic headquarters in Stockholm, we are now searching for an experienced Compliance Manager Nordics-Baltics.
Purpose of the role: To promote and support adherence to all Healthcare Compliance requirements (internal and external) in the Nordic Baltic Countries plus serve as country Data Privacy Officer. Direct responsibility for Sweden and Finland. Coordinating responsibility for the other countries in the territory.
Key responsibilities include:
•Implementing and administering Company Corporate Compliance programs and policies and EU/EMEA Compliance standards and Procedures.
•Participating in risk assessment, monitoring and audit outcomes. Supporting corrective/ improvement action follow-up in the affiliate with Regional Compliance Team.
•Identify the need for specific local Compliance procedures; lead/support their development and implementation.
•Being the contact point for Healthcare Compliance advice within the affiliate
•Interacting with and successfully influencing all levels of staff to accomplish Compliance initiatives and goals.
•Lead (in co-ordination with local business) corrective action implementation for Monitoring/Audit & CSA (as applicable).
•Understanding Compliance and Business drivers and strategy and being an advocate for Compliance within the business.

As a successful Compliance Manager Nordics-Baltics you combine a knowledge of the relevant laws, rules and regulations with a business oriented thinking and a pragmatic mindset. You view compliance knowledge as as a strategic asset in the business and contribute to business compliance thinking on a more strategic level within the leadership team, of which you are a part. You are a real business partner, not only a “police officer”. You ask yourself: how does my function best support the strategy and what suggestions can I give of how to proceed with the strategy in a compliant way.
Qualifications and experiences:
Bachelor/Masters degree in law, science or business. Fluency in English and Swedish. Knowledge of Finnish is a merit. Healthcare Compliance awareness/experience preferred. Data Privacy awareness/experience preferred. Defining and implementing policies, procedures and SOP’s. Developing training materials. Working with cross-functional teams
