Amgen is in a great position for growth within oncology and hematology. They have a strong in-market portfolio combined with a well-filled pipeline of medicines that are in various stages of preparation for launch on the Swedish market. They are now looking for a new Policy and Market Access Manager Oncology/Hematology Sweden.

About the role


•      Develop, maintain and execute on national/regional brand-specific policy and access plans (onc/hema)

•      Lead and develop Policy and Access initiatives in brand teams

•      Support commercial team with Access tools and materials

•      Collaborate with the Value, Access and Policy Team on access and policy related initiatives


Responsibilities include:

·      Key member of the cross-functional brand teams within onc/hema and together with the teams contributes to the development of the brand plans and specifically responsible for development and implementation of the market access and external engagement plans

·      Close collaboration with regional cross-functional cluster teams to secure access on a regional level for specific onc/hema products

·      Monitor healthcare and political environment and competitive landscape and changes therein to capture events impacting access and take actions to address national, regional and local threats and opportunities

·      Identify, engage, build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, that are needed for the execution of market access strategies for the onc/hema brands

·      Optimize national, regional and local market access of new and launched medicines by tailoring the tools and tactics to local market needs, aligned and coordinated with relevant internal functions for the onc/hema brands

·      Ensure close collaboration with European External Engagement and Policy colleagues

·      Responsible for developing and implementing national onc/hema policy shaping strategies and plans

·      Build and manage the relationships with patient- and interest organizations within onc/hema and in collaboration with these groups and coalitions, develop and implement projects

·      Lead development of value proposition and policy shaping activities within onc/hema

About you


·     Pharmaceutical industry experience in a Market Access or External Affairs role or similar within oncology and/or hematology field is preferred

·     A good understanding of the Swedish healthcare system on both national and regional level

·     A deep understanding of the Swedish payer and political landscape and the different stakeholders within onc/hema

·     Team player with a positive mindset who enjoys working in a diverse environment and values strong cross-functional relationships

·     Ability to build and maintain relevant stakeholder networks

·     Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·     Project management experience

·     Strategic thinking and be able to consider both long term and short term

·     Proven ability interacting with and influencing stakeholders

·     Fluent in Swedish and good communication skills in English

·     Excellent prioritization skills

·     Understanding of health economic concepts and ability to discuss and explain health economic data preferred
