Sobi is in a fantastic position of growth and is currently preparing for launches of important new medicines in indications with a high unmet medical need. The new Market Insights Manager Haematology will have a clear focus on seeking vital information to optimize the preparations of the upcoming launches within the Haematology Franchise internationally.
About the role
Purpose
Proactively seek information on the haaematology environment and emerging the evolving competitive landscape
From multiple internal/external sources including customer networking, congresses & commissioned work
Primary focus is to support the launch of a new haaematology medicine contributing to launch excellence
Support the development and communication of the understanding of trends in treatment and product use in conditions where the product is indicated or expected to be indicated in the future.
Participate in the collaboration with Haematology affiliate teams to gather all aspects of market data and intelligence available to ensure the development of an informed global commercialisation strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Manage market research and CI projects
Day-to-day management of projects and interaction with vendors (incl. planning and approvals) to ensure delivering results on time and within budget
Provide in in-country support to gather and analyse competitor use and the product use post launches and aggregate local market data in terms of (patient) population data as well as sales data to EMENAR level
Spend 20% of work time in the field (supporting business activities), gathering competitive and market market-based information, interacting with key customers where appropriate to continually evolve the view of the landscape
Keep market data and competitor information up-to-date, structured and available
Keep reference market data up-to-date for cross-functional use
Share competitor information from congresses and captured in the field (incl. up-dates to competitor development time lines and other materials where relevant)
Work in close collaboration with the Haematology Franchise cross-functional team (and co-development colleagues where appropriate)
Support assigned HQ project groups and support the overall Sobi Global business plans
About you
Sobi is looking for a person with the following qualifications and personal attributes:
Education/Learning Experience
University degree level education – business with focus on marketing and research
Work Experience
Market analytics or decision support role or equivalent for a minimum of 3 years preferably within the pharmaceutical industry
Recent experience in a highly competitive therapy area, preferably rare diseases within haematology
Experience in commissioning market research or marketing projects to external vendors
Skills/Knowledge/personal attributes
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Networking and opinion leader relationship development engagement
Report writing and presentation of analysis and strategic marketing recommendations
Effective communication and team working skills
Project management and leadership experience, delivering results on time and within budget
Flexibility, ability to manage change and operate in an environment of uncertainty
Demonstrable customer relationship management experience
Personal maturity and an ability to stand up for yourself and your expertise
Fluency in written and spoken English is required

Location:
The position will preferably be based in the Stockholm office. Regular international travel is required
