As Head of Medical Nordics, you report to the General Manager Nordics. You will take the lead role in delivering face to face scientific and clinical information and services as appropriate. As a key role and team lead you will manage the training landscape and foster a close connection with KOLs and physicians.


You are responsible for the local medical strategy and maintain thorough and up-to-date knowledge of disease state, clinical information, and product data. You lead the local Scientific Adviser team (Nordics) in the implementation of the medical activities, including the implementation of most effective segmentation and targeting. You build professional relationships with local, regional, and national opinion leaders in therapeutic areas of commercial and research interest and work in collaboration with the Scientific Advisers as a local contact for company funded research programs and projects.

You effectively communicate disease state and product knowledge, either formally or informally, through clinical and scientific presentations to KOLs, respond to physician enquiries Provide scientific education and training to internal staff as well as taking personal responsibility for compliance with all current Health & Safety legislation.


  • Life science graduate, ideally with a relevant PhD, pharmacy, or medical qualification
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and a field-based role
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering medical education programs
  • Experience with clinical trials, Good Clinical Practice, and/or experience with managing CROs and/or local clinical trial sites
  • Full proficiency in Swedish and English (further knowledge in Nordic languages is appreciated)

You have advanced interpersonal skills, personal confidence to interact across a wide range of cultures and levels and strong work ethic with high levels of resilience. You are confident, quick thinking, responsive and solution oriented and have a strong ethical compass with ability to good judgement when acting alone. Location is the Nordic Head Office in Stockholm.
