To achieve our ambition we are now looking for a Sales Manager. This role is located in Denmark.

As Sales Manager you will be accountable for achieving sales targets and important metrics for the brand portfolio in your region in Denmark. Additionally, you will lead, mentor, coach, and develop your Key Account Manager team.

The role

In this role you will continue to make the AZ primary Care Field Force one of the best in the industry by delivering excellent customer value through innovation and quality in our interaction. This includes to spend a significant time in field or in calls with KAMs and customers in which you ensure close customer interactions assessing and guiding on the brand and customer value delivered.

  • Effectively deliver business results and important metrics demonstrating a detailed understanding of brand strategies and ensuring execution aligned to strategy
  • Further develop the sales business model through new initiatives including new ways of working in light of COVID-19 and running an omnichannel approach
  • Analyze performance and trends in the region, seeing opportunities and challenges and taking actions based on the findings
  • Ensure to be up to date on local healthcare developments, including policies, access, pricing and guidelines
  • Strong collaboration with colleagues across the business
  • Secure that customer insights are shared and coordinated within business strategies through close partnership with Franchise team
  • Ensure robust customer segmentation, targeting, account planning and execution across the team and that work is coordinated with cross functional team members
  • develop team, including building selling skills, eye for business, personal development and execution
  • Leads sales team across the region, including but not limited to performance management, talent management, training and career development
  • Ensures corporate governance and Compliance of Pharma code/AZ values
  • Ensures tasks are of accurate quality and in accordance with written procedures and current legal requirements and internal standards
  • Accountable for the team’s and individuals’ level of competence being right as well as their compliance

Essential requirements

We ar looking for an individual holding an academic degree with a healthcare or business background. This senior position requires 6+ years of previous pharmaceutical experience in sales or marketing with track record of strong performance in attainment of targets.

Your current team would describe you as a resilient profile, able to deliver in an ambitious external environment, creative and strategic and, last but not least, inspirational and collegiate. Those attributes are equally important for your future highly dedicated team as is their self-motivation and development in focus supported by mentoring and relevant feedback.

  • The ability and willingness to develop oneself in people leadership
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, strategic and analytical skills as well as clear in communication
  • Able to form strong working relationships and networks
  • Excellent knowledge in English and Danish language
  • Driver´s license required
  • Being trusted, live the AZ values and enforce to Code and Policies
  • Possesses detailed knowledge of the Pharma industry, has a good understanding of the ethical code and compliance requirements
  • Previous experience in Cardiovascular, Renal, Diabetes or Respiratory areas is desirable
