Business Development Manager – High Medical Value Solutions

We are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join our dedicated team Sales & Customer Insights. This is a commercial role focusing on our High Medical Value Solutions (HMVS) such as biomarkers and digital diagnostic solutions in oncology and cardiology. The aim of this positions is to create better health outcomes driven by more personalized clinical decisions by building stakeholder advocacy and driving commercial clinical use/demand for HMVS. Your focus will be to continuously stay updated on knowledge and developments in this area and shaping deals and win-win customer collaborations that capture the full value of HMVS.

Key Job Responsibilities 

  • Own selected, prioritized HMVS sales opportunities, translating medical value evidence into win-win opportunities
  • Support selected complex opportunities that includes HMVS
  • Be accountable for continuous customer and opportunity description in Roche CRM system
  • Lead relevant HMVS projects and internal working groups
  • Mobilize the Healthcare system and clinicians to request that relevant HMVS’s are set up and offered by laboratories
  • Supports Roche lab customers in promoting the medical value of their services to clinicians and decision makers on a hospital or regional level
  • Overarching knowledge of Roche offering across all customer/disease areas

Your contribution

Your focus is to create value for Roche’s customers through knowledge within oncology and cardiology. You have a commercial approach based on deep medical knowledge. Furthermore, you are comfortable interacting with customers including clinicians and laboratory experts. You have a solid understanding of laboratory medicine customers, healthcare professionals and clinical decision-making processes. You bring a strong understanding of the value of HMVS and more personalized clinical decisions to the Healthcare system.


  • University degree – PhD will be considered an asset
  • Sales experience within the Swedish Healthcare
  • Experience of HMVS
  •  SaaS/SaMD experience is desirable
  •  Proficient in Swedish and English
