 THE ASSIGNMENT

You report indirectly to the Managing Director with a direct reporting line to the International Medical Director in Paris. You are responsible for the strategic medical development and marketing support of oncology products in the Nordic in accordance with local regulatory guidelines and contribute to the commercial success of oncology products in the Nordics. You will manage and direct as appropriate the delivery of medical activities with internal and external key stakeholders and healthcare policy makers in accordance with the medical-marketing strategy for commercial products, new indications, and pipeline compounds. You will lead and manage the Field Medical Team consisting of two MSLs.

 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Actively participating in strategy development of medical programs/tactics in conjunction with the product manager and Business Unit Manager (Cross-functional team).
  • Scientific exchanges with experts (advisory boards, investigator meetings, data presentation and analysis, one-to-one and group discussions etc),
  • Analysis, interpretation, and reporting of current environments (regulatory, market access, pharmacovigilance etc), as well as providing support to the relevant teams,
  • Support of local compliance team & be responsible for marketing material medical validation
  • Managing investigator-driven studies, resources & patient selection in accordance with local laws and procedures
  • Liaise with Corporate to ensure Nordic requirements are understood and met
  • Oversee, develop, and maintain accurate and up-to-date therapeutic area knowledge for sales, medical & marketing teams –literature reviews, meetings attendance

 ABOUT YOU

To thrive and be successful in the role, you are a dedicated Medical Affairs professional with solid scientific competence and experience, preferably within the field of oncology. You have an open and flexible approach and curious personality which makes you strong at adapting to fast changing situations and opportunities at work. You work in a structured way to deliver high quality work.

You need to have excellent communication and presentation skills in both written and spoken English and at least one local Nordic language. As a person, you are influential, innovative, have a bottom-line focus as well as a truly cooperative team player, and humble to the revolving development in pharma business.

 The position is primarily planned to be based in Sweden.
